In-house audit, accounting, tax and advisory team — no outsourced work
English- and Greek-speaking team
Working with UK-origin individuals and businesses since 2018
A narrow window has opened for UK relocators.
Two regulatory changes in the last 12 months have made Cyprus materially more attractive — and made acting quickly worthwhile.
UK non-dom abolition
The remittance basis was replaced by a 4-year Foreign Income & Gains (FIG) exemption for new arrivals. Long-resident UK non-doms are now taxed on worldwide income and gains as they arise. Transitional reliefs exist but are time-limited.
Cyprus 60-day rule simplification
Cyprus removed the requirement that an individual claiming the 60-day rule must not be tax-resident in any other state. Dual residency is now resolved under the applicable double-tax treaty tie-breaker. The other 60-day conditions remain.
Neither change is permanent. The FIG transitional reliefs taper. The Cyprus simplification can be revisited. If you are planning a move, getting the structure right in this tax year usually matters more than the exact day you arrive.
One regulated adviser. Three problems solved.
Tax residency and non-dom
We register you as a Cyprus tax resident under the 60-day or 183-day rule, file your non-domicile certificate (TD38), obtain your Tax Identification Certificate (TIC), and file your first IR1 personal return.
Business migration
If your income runs through a UK Ltd or sole trader, we re-structure it for Cyprus: company formation, VAT and social insurance registration, corporate accounting and (where it fits) IP Box implementation.
Day-one life on the island
Banking, GeSY health-system registration, residence permits for dependants, school registrations, utilities and a Welcome Pack written by people who have done it themselves.
We are an ICPAC-member firm with in-house audit, accounting and tax advisory partners. Most competitors at this price point are intermediaries who outsource the technical work. That is the practical difference: one engagement letter, one point of contact, one firm carrying professional responsibility.
Fixed-fee packages. No surprises.
All fees are ex-VAT. Affiliate lawyer disbursements and government/registry fees are billed at cost. Tier 3 and Tier 4 engagements require a separate annual statutory audit (€1,500–€3,500, disclosed in every Tier 3/4 engagement letter).

Frequently asked questions
From 1 January 2026, you can become a Cyprus tax resident by spending at least 60 days in Cyprus, carrying out business in Cyprus (employee, self-employed, or director of a Cyprus tax-resident company), and maintaining a permanent home in Cyprus that you own or rent. The previous requirement to not be tax-resident in any other state has been removed — dual residency is now resolved under the relevant double-tax treaty tie-breaker. You also cannot spend more than 183 days in any single other country in the same tax year.
Cyprus non-domicile status exempts a Cyprus tax resident from Special Defence Contribution (SDC) on worldwide dividends, interest and rental income for 17 years. To qualify you must be a Cyprus tax resident, must not have a Cyprus domicile of origin, and must not have been a Cyprus tax resident for at least 17 of the prior 20 years. Non-dom status is filed by completing Form TD38.
On 6 April 2025 the UK abolished the long-standing remittance basis for non-domiciled individuals. It was replaced by a 4-year Foreign Income and Gains (FIG) exemption for new UK residents who have not been UK-resident for the prior ten tax years. Long-resident UK non-doms are now taxed on worldwide income and gains as they arise. Time-limited transitional reliefs exist, including a Temporary Repatriation Facility for historic offshore funds.
End-to-end relocation typically takes 60–120 days from engagement signature to fully operational. The tax residency steps (Tax Identification Certificate, Yellow Slip, GeSY registration, non-dom certificate) can be completed in 3–6 weeks. Company formation and corporate banking for Tier 3/4 clients adds a further 4–8 weeks. Family residence permits and school registrations are the most time-variable elements.
You must be physically in Cyprus to attend the Civil Registry and Migration Department (CRMD) in person to file the Yellow Slip (MEU1) application, and to register your fingerprints if applicable. The remaining administrative steps — TIC registration, non-dom certificate, GeSY enrolment, company formation, banking — can be partly completed in advance and finalised on arrival. We coordinate the in-person appointments to be completed in a single visit window.
Our fixed-fee packages start at €5,500 ex-VAT (Tier 1 — Personal Essentials) and run to €24,000 ex-VAT (Tier 4 — Full Premium Relocation). Affiliate lawyer disbursements and government fees are billed at cost and typically add €1,500–€4,000 depending on the case. Tier 3 and Tier 4 require an annual statutory audit, priced separately at €1,500–€3,500. We do not quote ranges — once you've had the scoping call, the fee is fixed.
Yes. EU/EEA family members register independently using Form MEU1; non-EU family members of an EU national apply for a residence card using Form MEU2 (valid 5 years initially). UK-national family members follow Third-Country National procedures. Our Tier 2 and Tier 4 packages include dependants' residence permits, school registration support, and family GeSY enrolment. Not yet. As of May 2026 Cyprus remains outside the Schengen Area and maintains its own entry and visa rules. Cyprus is expected to join Schengen, with 2026 as the published target date. Today, a Cyprus residence permit does not grant visa-free Schengen travel — this is the most common point of confusion for third-country nationals planning to base themselves in Cyprus while travelling within the EU.
Cyprus is typically the best fit for UK-origin individuals who want EU residency, English-language professional services, and a Mediterranean lifestyle, and who are content with a 15% corporate tax rate (or zero where the IP Box applies). Dubai offers zero personal tax but no EU access and limited dependent-pension treatment. Italy offers the flat-€200k regime for very-high-income individuals but at a much higher fee floor. Our cluster article Cyprus vs Dubai vs Italy sets out the comparison in detail.
Only if your income is generated through a corporate structure. A Cyprus Ltd makes sense if you currently run a UK Ltd, are an IP-owning founder, have international clients, or want to access the Cyprus 15% corporate rate (rising from 12.5% under the 2026 reform) or the IP Box. If your income is investment income, pension, or salary from a non-UK employer, a Cyprus Ltd is rarely the right answer. Read more: Cyprus Ltd setup for UK consultants.
After the first 12 months our standard relocation engagement ends and you move onto an ongoing annual engagement letter — personal tax return, corporate accounting and audit, payroll and VAT, at our standard firm rates. Annual fees vary by complexity and are quoted separately. We share a written end-of-Year-1 review covering tax position, structure efficiency and any compliance items to address.
We are a Cyprus-based, ICPAC-member accounting, audit, tax and advisory firm — not a concierge or marketing intermediary. Most of our competitors at this price point outsource the technical work to firms like ours; the practical difference is that you sign one engagement letter, deal with one team, and have one regulated firm carrying professional responsibility for the whole engagement.
